UNSEEN

A Film by Chad Brown

The Lakeview, Oregon premiere of UNSEEN marked the beginning of a powerful statewide tour — a journey through communities whose landscapes and histories shape the heart of this story. Written and directed by Chad Brown, UNSEEN follows Oregon veterans as they confront trauma, rediscover purpose, and find healing through service, land stewardship, and connection. The Lakeview showing brought together locals, veterans, tribal community members, and outdoor leaders for an evening of reflection, conversation, and shared courage.

As the film continues its Oregon tour, audiences will also encounter a deeper thread woven through the narrative — a quiet nod toward the legacy of the Triple Nickels, America’s first all‑Black paratrooper unit. Their story, rooted in bravery, wildfire missions, and unrecognized service, echoes through the themes of UNSEEN: resilience, duty, and the healing power of the land. It’s a teaser of what’s to come, inviting viewers to look closer at the histories that shaped today’s veterans.
