Impact

“Impact is not a destination—it’s the work we do on the land, protecting ecosystems, uplifting communities, and advancing justice.”

Impact Metrics

WHERE CONSERVATION BECOMES MEASURABLE

Our impact is grounded in lived experience on the land — in river corridors, across the Arctic Refuge, in Tribal homelands, and in the halls where policy is shaped.

These metrics reflect the outcomes of our movement: conservation wins, leadership pathways, community breakthroughs, and advocacy shaped by youth, veterans, BIPOC leaders, and Tribal partners.

Each metric is a measure of conservation power rising from SRI Deployments, Operation ROAM, and national advocacy through the Fly‑In Delegation — protecting land, water, wildlife, and Indigenous sovereignty through lived experience outdoors.

Participants Engaged

Youth, veterans, Tribal partners, and community members connected to public lands through culturally grounded outdoor experiences.

Leaders Developed

Individuals who advance from participant to advocate, steward, or community leader — rising to protect land, water, wildlife, and Indigenous sovereignty.

Advocacy Actions

Meetings with lawmakers, policy engagements, and public testimonies led by youth, veterans, and Tribal representatives who carry lived experience from the land into conservation decision‑making.

Access Expanded

Acres of public land explored, communities reached, and barriers reduced for diverse communities — including strengthened access for Tribal nations and Indigenous youth.

Healing & Well‑Being Indicators

Increased confidence, reduced fear, strengthened sense of belonging, and improved mental resilience shaped by culturally safe, land‑based experiences.

These metrics reflect more than numbers — they represent transformation, empowerment, and a growing movement for justice, sovereignty, and conservation in the outdoors.

LEADERSHIP ECOSYSTEM PIPELINE

Youth • Veterans • Diverse Leaders • Environmental Justice Advocacy

The Leadership Ecosystem Pipeline is a long‑arc pathway that nurtures individuals from first‑time participants to confident advocates who protect land, water, wildlife, and Indigenous sovereignty. This pipeline strengthens conservation leadership through lived experience outdoors — rising from SRI Deployments, through Operation ROAM, and into national advocacy with the Fly‑In Delegation.

It is a continuum of belonging, stewardship, and courage — preparing youth, veterans, and diverse leaders to stand for ecosystems, communities, and the human right to roam.

Youth

Introduced to wild spaces “ The Art of Fly Fishing” through immersive expeditions that build confidence, trust, community , and a sense of belonging.

Veterans

Engage as mentors and stabilizing forces, offering discipline, resilience, and lived experience that strengthens the cohort.

Emerging Leaders

Participants develop leadership skills through hands‑on stewardship, cultural learning, and community‑centered outdoor experiences.

Environmental Justice Advocates

Graduates step into advocacy roles—meeting with lawmakers, speaking at statehouses, and championing policies that protect land, water
