Love Is King Operation ROAM x Hunters of Color

Love Is King Operation ROAM has officially teamed up with Hunters of Color to lead the next 2026 Delegation Cohort into the Arctic — where they’ll connect directly with the Gwich’in community in Vashraii Koo Village.

This journey is more than travel. It’s an immersion into relationship, responsibility, and truth. We’re honored to bring these five leaders to the Arctic to witness the political climate, Indigenous sovereignty work, cultural history, and the deep ties between the Gwich’in people, the land, and the refuge.

Our mission remains clear:

To create witnesses, advocates, and leaders in the environmental justice space — people who carry lived experience into the rooms where decisions are made. This cohort will take what they learn on Gwich’in land and bring it forward into Washington, D.C. in 2027, where they’ll step into the advocacy arena with firsthand knowledge and grounded purpose.

We’re grateful for this partnership, grateful for the trust, and grateful for the opportunity to build another pathway for leaders to learn at ground zero — alongside Gwich’in hunters, culture‑keepers, and community members who have protected the Arctic Refuge for generations.
